Leaders have a variety of styles. The trigger for this article is a poll that Reflexion conducted with 60 professionals over a webinar on “The Power of Coaching as a Leadership Style”. Participants were asked what predominant Leadership style they have observed in managers around them; 45% of the respondents said that the Autocratic style of leadership is commonly used at the workplace. Only 2% of participants had experienced Coaching being used as a common leadership style. And yet we know that leaders who coach are more effective.
